International Business Woman of the Year (IBWOY) Awards

Each year, the South Florida chapter of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) recognizes three women engaged in international business or international trade for their professional success, their commitment to South Florida communities, and the mentoring of other women in business and trade. An Award winner will be chosen from Nominees from each of three categories: Large Company, Small to Medium Company, and Public Servant/Non-Profit.

 

To nominate a peer or colleague, please complete this nomination packet in its entirety. Recipients of these awards must meet the following criteria:

  • Reside or do business in South Florida,

  • Possess a demonstrable record of leadership and contribution in international business or international trade in South Florida,

  • Provide service, leadership, and contribution to community organizations, groups, and causes in South Florida,

  • Contribute significantly to the international business or trade community in South Florida, and/or

  • Promote the advancement and mentoring of women in business.

 

OWIT membership is not a requirement for nomination, though we do encourage those nominating and those nominated to join! It is also encouraged that the Nominees, if selected as Finalists, be available to attend the Awards Luncheon
 

Instructions for Submitting a Nomination

Self-nominations are accepted. A Nominator may nominate more than one Nominee for consideration. Please e-mail your nominations to: owitsfl@gmail.com.

A Nominator is welcome to consult and collaborate with the Nominee in completion of the nomination materials.

 

Applications can be typed or printed and all fields must be completed. Separate pages may be used to respond to all fields of the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

 

All applicants consent to the use of their name and profile being published and disseminated in connection with all publications by or on behalf of the OWIT South Florida.
